Client-Side Processing
95% of our tools (Image Resize, Compress, QR, Markdown, Dev tools) run 100% inside your browser via WebAssembly and Canvas. Your files never leave your device.
Instant Auto-Purge
For the few tools requiring serverless buffers (e.g. encrypted PDF, Word text extraction), files are kept purely in volatile RAM and permanently purged within 60 minutes.
Zero Tracking & No User Profiles
We do not require accounts, logins, or credit cards. We do not sell metadata or personal data to brokers or advertisers.
End-to-End SSL Encryption
All traffic between your device and Quick4Media is encrypted using standard 256-bit TLS/SSL encryption with strict HTTPS enforcement.
1. Information We Do NOT Collect
Unlike traditional cloud converters, Quick4Media does not harvest or retain:
- The contents, text, photos, or audio of your uploaded files.
- Personal identity information (names, phone numbers, home addresses).
- Passwords used in PDF encryption or decryption (they remain local to your session).
- Biometric or location GPS data.
2. GDPR & CCPA Compliance
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):
- Right to Erasure: All temporary processing files are deleted immediately or automatically expired within 60 minutes.
- Right to Access: Because we do not store accounts or personal identifiers, we hold no user profiles to export or retain.
- No Data Sales: We do not sell, rent, or monetize your data under any circumstances.
3. Cookies and Local Storage
We only use browser localStorage to remember your theme preferences (Dark vs. Light mode) and basic utility state. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or invasive fingerprinting scripts.
